Effective date: July 1, 2026
Amathlon ("the app", "we") is a sports venue booking and match tracking app. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.
Your profile (name, username, photo, bio, match record) is visible to other users according to your account visibility setting (public or private). Match results are shared with the other participants of that match. Chat messages are visible to the members of the conversation.
We use a small number of processors to run the app:
When the app or our servers encounter an error, we send a crash report to Sentry, our error-monitoring provider, so we can diagnose and fix it. These reports contain the error, a stack trace and an anonymous request identifier. They are configured not to include request headers, cookies or request bodies, so they do not carry your password, authentication tokens or the content of your messages. Sentry processes this data only on our instructions.
Court bookings are paid directly at the venue. We do not collect or store payment card details, and no payment processor SDK runs in the app.
Your data is kept while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time in the app under Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Deletion removes your personal details (name, email, username, phone, photos, location, sign-in identifiers) and your social connections. Match results and messages you shared with other users are retained in anonymized form ("Deleted User") to preserve their records. You can also request deletion by emailing the address below. Encrypted database backups are kept for up to 14 days and then destroyed, so deleted data also ages out of our backups within that window.
Amathlon is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and the effective date above.
